Whether a service can be claimed through your NDIS plan or aged care package will depend on your individual funding arrangements.

Individual Counselling

Personalised support for life’s challenges

Individual counselling provides a private, supportive and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences. Support is available for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, low self-esteem, self-trust and significant life changes.

Medication Support

Medication support assists people who need help understanding, monitoring or maintaining their prescribed medication routine. Depending on individual needs, support may include medication education, monitoring, administration and establishing practical systems that promote safety and consistency.

Positive Behaviour Support focuses on understanding the reasons behind behaviours of concern, including unmet needs, communication difficulties, environmental factors and emotional triggers. Support is person-centred and aims to develop respectful, practical strategies that improve safety, participation and quality of life.

Addiction and Recovery Support

Addiction and recovery support is available for people affected by alcohol, drugs, gambling or other behaviours that are impacting their health, relationships, finances or everyday life. Disordered Eating Support

Support focuses on understanding the emotions, beliefs and habits connected to these patterns while building self-compassion and healthier coping strategies.

Habit coaching can be accessed as a stand-alone service or alongside counselling, therapy and other supports.

Appointments can be made either by contacting Cassie directly by phone, email or via the enquiry form.

No. You do not need a referral to access our services. How ever a letter from the HP can aid in providing information about your circumstances and needs.

Yes, in most cases, you are welcome to have a support person attend your appointment. At times, attending independently may be recommended to best support your needs. Please contact us beforehand if you have any questions or concerns.

Align Independence does not currently offer bulk billing or Medicare rebates. If you have NDIS funding or a My Aged Care package, some services may be covered under your plan or package. Please speak with your support coordinator, plan manager or package provider to confirm your eligibility.

Cancellation fees may apply depending on how much notice is provided. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy in our Terms and Conditions for full details.

Payment is required at the time of your appointment and can be made by cash or direct bank transfer. Please discuss any payment concerns when booking your appointment.
